This module is designed for first year LMD students to explain some fundamentals of writing. Writing is one of the basic skills that students of English should pay attention to. It is a way that enables them to communicate their thoughts and ideas. So, writing good English requires certain skills and rules to follow. It is not an easy matter like most students believe;it needs a lot of work and practice.Accordingly,this module opens the door for students to improve their level through providing useful activities. The module is divided into two chapters.The first chapter deals with the four types sentence structure. It helps students to recognize and distinguish these different structures.The second chapter sheds light on the common mistakes which surround the writing activity and helps students to identify them.Subsequently, the module aims at developing students writing skills which enables them to write a grammatically correct piece of writing.
