This syllabus is developed with respect to some overriding views about teaching history for Master II students. The aim of delivering the following lectures is to allow students locate and understand themselves and others as they explore the human experience in a historical context. It is of paramount importance for students to know that there is no uncontested version of history. Therefore, developing problem solving, critical thinking skills, and interpretation of sources while tackling the following subjects can help them engage easily in their research and prepare their master dissertations.
